Bahahaha! I posted that pick in the WTF thread also a while back. My brother-in-law is a Sheriff's officer. I got busted on a lone back country road doing 120 in a 55. I was blackmailed into this by him and the judge to get out of the ticket. Judge has a copy if it behind the bench I'm told. Lol BTW there is no excuse for the BBR sticker.

I am sure you guys seen the GT500 partout thread that was posted. I ended up buying the RPM Hydro Dipped rollbar that was stated to have minor scratching. I paid for it on 11/17/12 and finally got it today. Well, there were some details that were left out. Let me start off first by saying that the doorbar receiver that bolts to the floor on the passenger side was cut out with a saw! That is far from minor scratching! It is basically worthless. That wasnt so bad because i could order that piece from RPM. The worst part is that i wasnt informed that the shoulder bar is not welded in which makes the cage not certified. It was a custom setup requested by the customer that the bar be removable so the back seats could be used more easily. Who in the hell would pay all that money for a cage to not be certified? On top of that, he didnt even send me the shoulder bar. When I contacted Mike about this, he basically told me that he sent me pics and i knew what i was getting. I have contacted RPM about it and they are willing to charge just for materials to fix the cage the way its suppose to be to make it certified. They were super nice guys but Mike is not willing to help me out. I have been on the phone all day with Mike trying to make this bad deal positive but its not looking good so I have filed a paypal claim. Here are some pics of the cage:

It's amazing how you have decided to leave out alot of facts.
#1-I sent you pictures of EXACTLY how the roll bar was. You never asked if it was certified for drag racing. In fact after I sent you the pictures you said it looks GREAT! Here is the text you sent me.
#2-I told you the passenger side was damaged and probably needed to be replaced so if I sent you a damaged one you were already warned that it was damaged and needed to be replaced.
#3-When I spoke to you today your words to me after I told you "I sent you pictures and you said it looked great" were similar to "I don't know anything about roll bars so how was I suppose to know"
#4-Am I willing to help you? Yes... but within reason since I sent you pictures BEFORE the item was EVER sent out and you had more than enough time to tell me... "It's not what I thought it was so can you please cancel the order" BUT no... you did not do that.. in fact you kept asking me when the item would ship. You have asked me to take the cage back and I am willing to as long you you pay the freight since I was VERY honest with you and even sent you pictures. Your request to have me pay for the entire costs of the roll cage to be configured to what you thought you were getting is unreasonable when I sent you pictures of EXACTLY what you were getting
Here are the pictures I sent you and ALSO the text you sent me that the cage looks great BEFORE I sent it out to you. These pictures CLEARLY show the bar where the harness bar is detached and is not there.

I don't see anything cut in those pics till it was on his truck. Those look like new pics. Might be a good reason for everyone to have to include the paper with the name and date in the picture. Would be safer for both party's. Jmo
The parts he is showing is from the passenger side of the car.... which was where all the damage was from. I had told him that the passenger bar may need to be replaced since there was major damage on that side of the vehicle and he understood that. His main beef at this time is he says its not NHRA certified. I sent him all the pictures above and he approved the bar. Those are parts he received.. I figured I would ship them to him just in case he could use them... I could have easily just thrown them away instead of shipping them to him. For Orem to claim I completely lied to him is ridiculous....

You never said that there was major damage first off. You said you think there may be some minor scratching. Never once told me you cut the bar off with a saw. This is my first experience with rollbars so how am i suppose to know that if the shoulder bar is removable that it makes it not certified. I think that info should have been stated, and the guys at RPM agreed with me about that. I wonder why you didnt send me pics of that cut off bar if you supposedly told me there was major damage? Since you are now agreeing to take the cage back, refund my money and ill ship it back to you. This was what i insisted in the first place. Also, i never asked you to pay all the expenses to have the cage fixed. I said i could either send the cage back to you for a full refund or you could half me on the expenses to have it fixed.
