That's what I was thinking as well. The guys took good care of Newman though.
Yes, thanks for all the back up fellas .

Mil itonanos friend. The supercharger needs to be rebuild. It looks like something came inside of the blower. He didnt say anything about this. And he knows it for sure. I hope some one can fix it here in Spain

dont worry about the shipping it was a misunderstood. But the thing is the guy sold him a blower without tell him it needs to be rebuild...
Beast, Santi is from Spain and speaks English as a second language with some help from a translator. In spite of the language difficulties he's been very easy to deal with and he's a really nice guy. He's the one who bought the engine out of my Bullitt. His word is good.
I think the Bad Sellers thread is for members to make other members aware of yet another member selling bad parts or sending nothing at all.
I don't think the decision to not sell a member an item makes the seller a bad one. We ARE in the United States, you know?
I wouldn't sell Dubstep Shep a pound of smegma from the backside of my happy sack, at ANY cost...but if Darren wanted to buy it, damn right I'd hook him up, even with an extra ounce or two at no charge. Would that make me a bad seller?
I make a motion that a mod remove all posts in this thread regarding Newman as a bad seller. This doesn't make Newman a bad seller. It makes him an asshole.
Right, Newman?
Looking forward to getting my parts this week!
LOL

Yea, buying boost on forums is OUT for me. Screw that! Too many guys that don't have any standards on what's considered "damaged"............![]()
The huge red flag for me is hearing why they removed the blower to sell it. Guys don't just remove a perfectly fine blower because they feel like "going a different direction with the car". My first blower came off a wrecked car with 5700 miles on the odometer.
I disagree. Some guys get bored and want to try a different power adder. In this seller's case he is doing a coyote swap. From the pictures that were posted the rotor packs are fine. The boost actuator is broken. The huge red flag for me is hearing why they removed the blower to sell it. well if mine ever goes back up it will be disassembled so the world can see the shape its in. I decided this after piggy got scrrrrewedGood point!!
We've been here long enough to know the members that have money to switch power adders just for the sake of going in a different direction and they've taken care of their stuff vs the ones that don't have the money and are dumping stuff for the sake of having to FIX it. At least I'd like to think we know who to buy from.
What??
this blower doesnt look trashed to me. looks like he blew his motor and sucked up some micro debris. as long as no solids went thru the intercooler then this is a just candidate for a rebuild which is supposed to be done periodically on these blowers anyhow. i had my whipple rebuilt in march just because of this same appearance. spend the money to have it gone thru and be done. if you really think this blower is trash, I will pm you an offer, have it rebuilt and resell it
Who was the seller?
