Bama free tunes for life

Does the bama free tunes cover the life of the tuner even if it remarries to a different mustang ? Or does this program cover the life of the car?

They will charge you for a new set of tunes. Once you use the tuner on a different ECU that means that BAMA has to rewrite you a new tune.

That goes for all tuners

They covered me when I upgraded to Comp Cams Stage 2 NSRs.

It may, but you probably need to put the original serial number in to get tunes approved since the new tuner serial number will not be in bamas database.

They don't tune everything they sell though :/ They won't write to many FI tunes, if any.

dont think they will do FI though, they do sell some FI kits and would be a good thing to ask

They will do nitrous up to a 100 shot and ASAIK no FI tuning. Last time I was looking this was the answer from their "tech expert".

Unless you bought the second tuner from BAMA you'll be charged a $150 fee to get more tunes for life. Still not a bad deal.

I don't know about already having it, but if your N/A then go FI they will charge you.

I started out with an X-Cal2, in '07, when Bama was Doug. After Bama switched to American Muscle, I won an X-3 in '09 as a car show door prize. I called Bama, explained what happened, and they rewrote my tunes for the X-3. I've gotten at least 5 updated tunes from them since then.

That was a while ago, but at least back then, they used to honor tunes for life on the same car, even with a new tuner. I'd call them and ask.
