I'm going to the track on sunday, hopefully bust out some 12.5's and I'll be happy!

Nice times. Still needs a few tenths to be the fastest bolt on 3v but nice times none the less. I need a tc eat away at my times a little more.

Aint gonna happen, you're working that voodoo magic with those 3.31's!!!

bastard your shit is definitely a factory freak! :roflmao:

the fact that if you got a 1.7 60 ft you'd be in the 11's is disturbing.

Wow you're car must be a factory freak. Those are amazing times considering your 60' is only 1.8
What was DA on those run?
I guess DS made some difference on your trap speed?

This car does amaze me too. My best 60' has been a 1.77 but i can't launch no higher than 4000rpm because the tires won't hold it. The launch in this car is on a razor's edge and what i mean by that is 3800 launch,it bogs bad runs 12.50's. Launch at 4200,spins bad through first gear,ET drops to 12.50's. That 4000 launch equals 12.30's every run! Bone stock this car made 280rwhp & 300rwftlb. I never ran it bone stock on drag radials but on the factory BFG's it ran a best of 13.38@107mph with a 2.05 60'. My good driving and Justin at JPC Racing get alot of credit from me for how good the car run's. I would love to run 11's with the 3.31 gears but i don't know if long tubes and a set of real slicks launching at 6000rpm would do it?? What do you guy's think my next move should be?? Try to get 11's with the 3.31's? or just put the 4.10's,slicks and long tubes on and bust strait into the 11's?? Kinda at a brick wall at what to do next??

The DA that day at Rockingham was 500ft, air temp was 65F,track temp was 98F,humidity was 25%. The DS gave me 2mph more.

your DR's don't hold anything above 4k rpm? I'm launching at 5k and almost dead hooking with 4.10's! lol

I get to try out my brand new et streets (bias ply) on sunday!

I'm trying to decide between 26x11.5 ET Street's or 26x10 ET Drag slicks?
Nope, won't hold for nothing, spins like crazy through first gear. I even dropped air pressure 1lb at a time from 18psi to 10psi,nothing helped. Long burnout, little burnout,no burnout didn't work. I log book and video every pass i make in this car to get the most from it. Here are 2 perfect example videos of what i'm talking about:

First video: Launched at 3800rpm, bogged my ass off!! But i still took out that Bad Black Buick GN!!! He wasn't stock either, bigger turbo, bigger exhaust riding on ET Streets.

Second video: Launched at 4200rpm,spinning like hell!! If you look closely you'll see those Hoosiers hazing there ass off.The GN guy said he broke in the burnout box???....I think he had enough 3v!!!!

Great times for the mods you have.
Go with 4:10s, or steeper, and stay with the radials.
We're all looking for that 11.99 pass. Good luck.

Thanks man, I was thinking maybe 4.30's because i need to cross the line at 64-6500rpm. I shift at 6500 and cross the line in 3rd at 6500 exactly. I think that's what makes it run so good now because the car thinks it is a 3 speed. Why do you say stay with the radials? I would think the slick or bias ply will take a harder launch? But looking in your sig says diffrent though!LOL!!

I go thru the traps about 6400 with the 4:56s and a 28in tire.
I launch at 7000 and shift about 6800 to 6900.
If you run a 26 inch tire, 4:30 would probly work great.

I'm not going to tell you to NOT add 4.10s/4.30s and headers, but...

Your car runs extremely well for what it is. You already mentioned that you're crossing the line in third, and I assure you that is helping both ET and MPH. I've seen a lot of people go slower with more gear, and the same with too much exhaust.

You need to talk to Mickey Thompson, those shits are dry or something man. I got the et streets 26x10.5 3752 is the part number, wrapped around some jegs 15x8's, each wheel is only 32lbs compared to my old 18 inch radial setup that was 53lbs per wheel!

Your next move after a 6000 rpm launch will be replacing the clutch :)
