That's the same setup with the chin spoiler I have. What was required to get rid of the honeycomb? Cutting?
On the regular GT bumper? Remove the lower grill completely and get your dremel out! Takes a couple hours and a steady hand...

I then brought the GT bumper to a body shop and had the lower grill area painted matte black. The lower grill does not get reinstalled after you open it up.

Dang I guess I will be keeping mine in then! A little more work than I was looking for but it looks absolutely sick!
