I just put my o/r x pipe on and loaded my BBR tune and it threw the CEL light at me a little while after, how do i dispose of this? I thought i could turn off the o2 sensors with my SCT, am i correct there?

i think they have to be turned off in the tune itself.

Will do Jeremy, I didn't think an x pipe would be difficult. -__-

It probably a simple fix in the tune, its not to uncommon to hear about this happening actualy.

hopefully, I just took it out for a spin and i noticed the throttle response wasn't as good as in the first tune they gave (it could be the x pipe with straight pipes, who knows), so im just down in throttle response and my CEL is on. It just peaked my curiosity.

The car isn't running as well now that the rear O2 light is on. This is something that should of been turned off in the tune. But every tuner out there has made the mistake of not turning them off at one time or another. It happens. But the PCM is telling the engine to dump more fuel to cool off the cats that aren't there. So you get shitty gas mileage and performance. Once the rear O2 sensors are turned off, the tune should run a lot better.

There isn't an option to turn the O2 sensors off available to the end SCT Programmer customer. The tuner has to do it in their software.

I figured as much, the odd thing is.. i'm still maintaining 21 mpg avg which isn't bad. Whenever i get in touch with BBR i hope its a quick solution.

I don't need to read the code, its because of no cats lol.
How would you know that without reading the codes? Granted that's what it probably is but you have a tuner, why not take two minutes and scan it just for shits and giggles?
