I talked to a representative of 3M last week for their clear bra (InvizaShield) and they dont have a template for the Cervini front bumper. I figured they wouldnt so I asked if they make special orders. The man on the phone (John) said yes we do but we have to hand cut the material instead of using the computer and when we cut the material the edges could come out sharp or jagged. After talking for a while he convinced me he could do a show quality job installing and cutting the bra. If all else fails he could use a Saleen template and modify it a little. He said he would call me back with a price. Two days later I get a call from John and he tells me he has outstanding news. He said he called the head designers and they are going to have a designer come to my house next week to measure my front bumper to make the very first template for the Cervinis Mustang. After that they will enter the measurements into the computer so the computer can cut the material. They will use my car to perfect the bra to their standards. After the material is cut to their sandards and installed on my car they will save it for all other Cervini owner to use. John told me the bra should be $700 to $900 when introduced. This sound too easy there has to be a catch. I hope this guy isnt Bull Sh***ing me. Any Cervini owners have a 3M clear bra already? If so did they have to customize it or was it already pre cut?

Great thread! I have a new Cervinis front bumper cover all painted and ready to be put on the car (long story about the old one) but wanted to look into a clear bra for the bumper as well and was going to find an installer in the area and see what quote I get.
Let me know how it all turns out and if he wants to use the bumper cover that is already off the car and if I live close to who ever would do it I am game if the installer can guarantee a show quality application over that show quality paint I have. It sucks because these bumpers flow air nice but are low to the gorund and anything that hits them can cause problems (esp when opeing the whipple up on the highway!). I doubt he is bullshi**ing you and I assume this is at no cost to you for the services and product they are supplying? Thanks and PM or email me and I am not trying to steal your thunder but if they want 2 cars to practice on I have first dibbs after you of course! Later J

Beautiful car BTW! R U on mustang forums as well? Just curious as I moderate on that site and your car looks familiar!!!!

Hey what color is your car? Im on modularfords.com. According to John they should be here next week to start the process. If it doesnt happen I will let you know. If we get enough Cervini owners calling and complaining they have to give in, eventually. I will let them know that you have another front bumper available. From what I understand is they take picuters and a few measurement. Download the picture into the computer and the computer does the measuring and if the computer matches his/her measurements then they take it to print.
My other thread about the 3M bra

Last week the designer from 3M showed up to my and measured my whole car. He called me yesterday and said that the material is cut and is ready to be installed on the car. There is just one problem the paint on my front bumper is peeling off. The body shop agreed to pay another body shop to fix it. So I have to wait. He told me that the kit is available to the public and material will fit perectly within a Millimeter. He said the standard kit (Partial hood and front bumper)will cost $650. If you want the complete kit (Partial hood, Front bumper, rocker panels, under the license plate, both sides on the back bumper behind the tires) it will cost you $1300.
