Nice! Hey Godfrey....switching to those 3.31 gears must have been a really bad idea.

:LMAO:

Damn! Those are pretty bice numbers for his first pass of the night! I'm at work using my phone and will definitely keep checking this thread through the next few hours.

LOL at SD...:evillaugh:

Paul was there and got some vids and I'm sure he'll post them. The runs were actually crap though - half my fault - half the car.

The first pass on the new shifter, my dumb ass had a brain fart on the 2-3 shift and pulled the shifter BACK (like I'm used to) instead of forward so I downshifted to 1st when I was supposed to be going to 3rd...lol

When Paul posts the video - you'll see a terrible run where I'm on the limiter for at least 2 seconds. I know that pass was a 5.6x at least and I fucked it up but I was still happy to see a 5.8x.

The second pass I did perfect but after 2 oil downs the track was shit and you'll see my launch damn near go into the other lane but I still turned a 1.31 60' and ran a 127 mph but had no 3rd gear. The guys had just got the shifter in the car yesterday and it wasn't adjusted right and wasn't going into 3rd gear. I crossed the traps in 2nd at about 8000 rpm and I could feel the car flatline on power at around 6800 so it was a informative though. Despite what JPC said about the set-up being to make power through 8000 rpm - that's just not the case. I found last night I need to be shifting in the 6500-6800 range for the best results. So a big success last night and I think it is finally 'dialed'.

I'll be at PSCA next weekend so there will finally be 1/4 mile numbers on the car but I will say all you guys talking about low 9's have no clue about turbo cars. It's not like your blower cars where you have a straight line of power. My power curve is a mountain...lol

Basically, what I'm saying is that when I run a 5.8 1/8 - it's not a low 9 pass...lol More like a 8.8x pass...:beerdrink:

You'll see next week...:thumb:

Funny thing is - I am still 'conservative.' I am only running 12º of timing and only 24 psi max. I have A LOT more to go in this car...
