I know this is a cherry question, but what is the big deal with claybarring a car? I have a '12 black gt, should i clay mine? Also where is the best place to find a claybar and which is the best? Last question....how do you go about it? Just rub it like an eraser? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn about this.

Use the search button, LOTS and LOTS of threads on this: http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40276
Just going to take some READING!

Claying pulls the contaminant off of the paint that a regular wash will not. there is no "best clay" it is all a matter of opinion. i say start off with the mothers/meguairs kit and try it out then if you later feel like trying something different go for it.

How to clay:

none to very little pressure, just let it glide and make sure it is wet with the clay lube.
1 - IF YOU DROP IT THROW IT AWAY! not worth the scratches it will cause.
2 - kneed often

autogeek.net has lots of clays to choose from if you decide to go with something besides megs/mothers.

If you have a porter cable skip clay barring and buy a nano skin auto scrub instead.
