Has anyone put a set of 2015-2017 GT Cams and cam phasers on a 2011-2014 GT? Did your tuner have any problems with this set up?

Just wondering if there is any benefit running these cams with 2011 block and heads. I will use the 2015-2017 GT rods and pistons as well. I was told the 11-14GT valve springs would be OK.

Who has built a coyote out there? Any tips? Planning on putting in a Billet OPG while it is apart and on On3 kit in the future.

The 2011-14 PCM can't run the phasers so no one has done them before that I am aware of. I have put the 2015+ heads on a 2011 block though.

What are your goals when you have finished the engine portion of your build? What are you doing with the fuel system?

Is it pointless to run the cams with the 11-14 phasers? Or is it even possible or pointless?

I was going to just do a stock rebuild and get the swap done and running. But while I have the motor apart I was thinking of doing some upgrades.

Haven't planned out the fuel system yet. I have a 11-14 stock pump so far. Still collecting parts. Was told I can use a C5 fuel filter instead of a regulator.

If you want to upgrade the cams get aftermarket ones. The 15 ones will be more trouble than they are worth and will give minimal to no gains.

Thanks seems like that is the concensus. The exhaust cam off the 2015 has the same part number as the boss 302 exhaust cam. Could I just run the exhaust cam.

*** My bad they have different part numbers as the 2015+ cams are longer because of the heads.

I'm rebuilding a 2011 GT motor that had a bad cylinder 8. Planning to swap it in an 06 get it running and then throw the on3 turbo kit on it.

Came across some 2015 cams and thought they would work and was hoping that extra lift on the exhaust would benefit the turbos.

I have the motor apart so just trying to do what I can on a budget.

Have boss 302 rods for it.
Planning on mmr head cooling mod and billet OPG.
