Arent they not supposed to use water to put out a jet fuel fire?

Ideally no chemical or haylon works way better but with the size of that fire and not being really prepared for that type of fire they did what they had to. I work on military jets and had to put out a small fire on a jet engine that was leaking fuel on a ground engine run used a large chemical fire bottle that we have stationed between the jets. It worked great fire was long out before the fire dept could even respond.

You can use water, water with an aqueous film-forming foam, or a chemical agent, but their tactics were dangerous and not one of them was wearing the proper gear. They're clearly extrication techs and not municipal firefighters.
