The Dana replacemnt part#5022701 is discontinued, you have no choice but to get the Summit Sonnax.

Yup. I will be ordering it today and have it installed on the driveshaft this week.

When they install it, I’ll also have them put new U-Joints in and balance it as well.

Got the Sonnax piece in a few days ago but just getting around to unboxing it and checking it out. Attached some pictures and it appears to be a really nice unit.

I’ll be headed to the drive shaft shop later this week to drop everything off.

It’s been a few days since I last gave some updates. Took the driveshaft and the new flange / yoke up to a local and reputable drive line shop and had them replace the U-joints at both ends and balance it while it was there.

They did an exceptional job and even installed a u joint in the rear with a grease fitting. They told me it needed very little weight to get it balanced correctly.

I plan on dropping this in tomorrow and taking it for a test run.

Good morning from NJ. I'm about to replace my drive shaft in my 2005 Mustang convertible v6 manual trans. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good source for a new drive shaft? Thank you.
