Dumped Exhaust

We just finished up a system like this (Magnaflow cans) on my blue car but managed to get the bottom of the cans so they hang no lower than the gas tank. It was a lot of work to get them tucked up that tight.

I won't have pics for a few days.

gmitch's setup is sick! Some of the pictures don't give the greatest of straight on shots, but the magnaflow mufflers are just about level with the gas tank. I saw it in person and it made me jelly.

Also note that the turndowns are just past the cabin so that might drown out a LITTLE bit of noise, but we will see how loud it is.

thats pretty much how my setup is with glasspacks. but i got my hangers off the gas tank bolts.

You can have your center tips welded in place. There are other Saleens the have welded there center tips in place and ran different exhaust.

908SSP made them.

3" exhaust?

3" from the X-pipe back. If it doesn't make the power I want it to in March I'll go with bigger headers and a 3" X-pipe.

I've only had the 2.5" stuff on there for about 2K miles. I'm not ready to change it if I don't need to.
