So we got it but had to put a couple washers between the trans mount to clear the shifter to get the saleen shifter to clear.

I do not remember who it was, but i did install 1 DS that had instructions to place the slip joint at the back. I have 2 s197 both with DS made by different company's , Coast drive line, and spydershaft, both install slip at front. When i tried to install the other that way it hit the shifter. Go figure..

We put it in with the slip at the back and still had to put washers between the trans mount to get it to clear the shifter. If we put the slip up front the shifter would have to the fuck out of the boot on the slip.

Just to add my $.02, Dynatech does place their slip spline at the pumpkin. Since I live close to them and was having a harmonics issue in my driveline, I took it over to their shop and they reversed the location of the slip splines to the transmission end and rebalanced to specs tighter than their NASCAR shafts. Made a big improvement...and OP, like others said, you are missing the adapter.

It was bothering me why you guys were having problems and when I got back from the in laws I started searching to see what the hell is going on. If he needs to get it going he could remove the Saleen block and go back to a stock setup until he figures out which shifter he wants to go with.

Just want to make sure the buyer happy and help out in any way I can. I know how it is to be on the other end where shit doesn't go as planned. That's why when the JPC throttle body gasket tore because it was stuck to my tb I got in touch with Eric@JPC and had one sent out the the buyer.
