Edelbrock is offering me a 3/36 $0 deduct for $275 or 5/60 $0 deduct for $475 extended warranty on my recently dealer installed SC. Looking for thoughts on this, you know the outside looking in opinion. Reading thru this they cover the engine for $5000, $1500 on rear axle and $1500 on trans. It also states "Particpating in or Preparation of the vehicle for racing (on a track or otherwise) Fires, Floods, Riots, War, God etc are not covered. Everything can be considered an act of God so my thought is with this warranty pay, play and pray. Lookin for your thoughts

If you race its void? What the hell good is that? Preperation of the vehicle for racing does that mean if you have E/T street drag radials on the car you are out of luck? If you are not going to race pull the trigger but it sure sounds like they will void it at the drop of a hat.

I didnt get the warranty because I installed it myself, The way I look at it I knew what I was doing and if I blow it all to fuck I'll just put all the pieces in a bucket and have it towed home.

Funny thing is my car is still under warranty and my alternator took a shit and I told them I didn't think they would make it good because of the mods but to my surprise they gave me a new one no charge.....
