I am going to lower my 09 mustang gt and bought a set of rear eibach pro springs. My question is how do I tell of its the right springs and how much it will lower the car. They have a part number on them but it doesn't match any numbers Ive seen.

Nevermind looked the numbers up on summit and found they are the right springs. Was just curious cause I got these for deal cause the guy didn't wanna lower the rear of his car.

So you bought springs without even knowing if they were for your car? How do you plan on getting just the front set? That thing is going to look like you have 500lbs of coke in the trunk.

Remember when installing new springs
They will more likely be progressive wrapped.
You want the tight spiral part of the spring at the top when installed.
typical drop is 1.5 inches on the rear with those springs.
also you will suffer on ride quality if you leave the stock shocks on.
Plus you may want to lower the front as well.only doing the rear may look funny?

Only lowering the rear will look funny, even with a taller wheel/tire combo. I did the rear one afternoon with my dad and it looked weird until the next weekend when we had time to do the front. Would definitely recommend new shocks and struts. 1.5" doesn't seem like much, but it is. Especially if you're going with shorter sidewalls.

Thanks Ryan and makdaddy. I am lowering the front also just using the pro spring in the rear and the front I'm going a littler lower than the 1.3 the pro kit does. I have the 255s and 285s on the back and way to much wheel gap. Thanks for the help.

Don't forget to trim the bump stops on the rear. I had the Eibach pro kit so it came with different stops from Eibach.
