Hello, I currently have a 2011 5.0 and my engine currently has a rod knock in it. I’m assuming with it having a knock, i’d need to replace the block, depends how bad it is. I haven’t taken it apart yet, as I don’t have a garage or anything to take the engine apart. It’s been sitting since May and I’ve been wanting to get it fixed but haven’t had the money. It’s my daily driver as well. But, where can I get a block for a gen one coyote instead of seeing all the gen 3’s online? Just a simple 19’ year old just wanting her car fixed. If anyone can answer it, please let me know. I don’t know if i’ll answer here on much but if I don’t, message my instagram. Thanks.

there's really no way to know until it gets pulled apart, to replace the short block only you may gets want to get a one from a salvage car, LKQ for instance.

or a long block you can have swapped in to replace the damaged one.
