Finally making a dream a reality!

Hey everybody, I'm Ebesneezer and I've wanted a S197 for quite some time now. I kept going back 'n forth about a 4.6 or a 5.0 but I found a 5.0 that made me say "whoa" out loud and that's never happened before so I decided to pursue it. I'm currently sorting things out with the dealer (the car is ~300mi away so I'm doing this online and shipping it to me) and I should have my butt in the seat by the end of next week!

To be honest I'm mostly a lurker on forums but I do occasionally participate. I'm not into modding or DIY repairs or stuff like that, I like to keep things stock/OE so usually don't have much to talk about unless the car has a problem I want to learn more about.

You may catch me every now and then over on the Fusion Sport Forum (I have a '17) and you betcha I'll be posting pics when my new wheels arrive, if there's a thread for that sort of content (I haven't looked yet, this is the first thing I've done).

The process has been very slow but surprisingly easy. Thankfully the dealership has been cooperative. The waiting is killing me though, what I thought would take a week has extended to three. Currently, I'm waiting for the shipping company to pick up the car.

I decided to do this online to avoid using PTO but at this point I wish I had just used a day of PTO and gone down there to buy it in person. Oh well, we live and learn, and I usually learn the hard way haha.
