First time Ford owner DFW Texas

So, I’m new to the Ford arena, always been a GM person until now. Long story short, I’ve been searching for a car to convert for track only purposes and came across a deal I couldn’t pass up on a base S197. I’ve just started stripping out the interior, learning some of the pluses and minuses of the platform. Hoping that I can learn some of your thoughts on great additions for suspension, chassis and brakes for road course applications. Also, could use some recommendations for cage builders in the DFW area. Still a long long time from that, need to get it tore down and sell the pieces I don’t need first. Looking forward to the info I can gain from you all. Thanks
