I love the cooling of the Fluidyne radiator but compare to older model the overall appearance of the ones for the S197 pretty much sucks. On the old ones the top piece was solid and polishable with a nice piece riveted to it with the Fluidyne logo. The one I recently got for my Roush was not nice looking. The top has three unsightly circles welded on it and the actual frame had a split sawed in it...and it wasn't even centered...pretty ugly to say the least.
I grabbed some alum angle off the shelf and clamped it to my table and used an angle grinder with a "razorblade" and cut it to the proper size. A few minuets on the polisher and some two sided tape and PRESTO...MUCH more appealing to the eye! No performance gain but definately better for presentation of the engine bay.
