In terms of the offset I specified the offset when I ordered which was +42mm both front and back. I never thought it to be a secret.

It's not. He has no idea what he's talking about. Forgestar offers custom offsets for crying out loud...you get to PICK what you want.

Did you see the lol beside the top secret. There has been a lot of talk in this forum about forgestar keeping Their specific offsets for vehicles quiet. But yes You can order any size you want.

This is off Forgestar's website.. Some rims were painted, then Forgestar switched over to powder coating them.. There is video on youtube clearly showing the rims being powder coated..

Developing a new Forgestar wheel doesn't just involve creating a new design, it also means selecting proper finishes to match the unique and innovative construction elements. Forgestar custom powdercoats each set of wheel to each individual own taste. Powder coating is applied electostatically and cured under heat to create a hard finish that is tougher then conventional paint.

It didnt make any sense to me that it was the powder coating as I too thought they were powder coated from the factory..I am not knocking forgestar,I am just advising you of one members experience and what forgestar told him.Thats the only reason I mentioned it to you.Just looking out.

Can't wait to start see more pic's of mustang with these wheels. I think I'll be the first one to actual get silver one's, lol. Everyone else these days only buys black! I've only seen black and gold on a mustang. Hopefully my silver f14 18's look good!

I've got black cf5's coming. It's been a 4.5 weeks since I ordered. Was quoted 4-8 weeks for them to be made and shipped so hopefully sometime soon.

When I was shopping for mine, they has just discontinued the titanium finish I wanted. Ended up with Piano Black. I would go with the titanium not the silver. I need more color fluctuation.

Yeah the titanium is sweet, I would have preferred that if it was available.

Good luck...I was quoted 8 weeks, it took 17 weeks.

My god. Did they offer anything or any sort of explaination? My guess was they were out of the cores in the size you wanted. When I ordered he said they only had four 18x11 barrels/cores left and that if I had ordered after they were sold that it would take close to 4 months.

There is no urgency with Forgestar, I've talked to Peter at Forgestar awhile back when I ordered my F05's. He did mention Forgestar having a hard time with how much they've grown.

Man I sure hope it doesn't take 17 weeks to get my F14's. I have dedicated snow tires on now and the 8 weeks I would told would allow me to get them just in time for spring. I don't want to be driving around on freaking snow tires all spring and into summer. Man that would suck!

Ya, I may have to rethink my ordering plans. I was going to wait until I get close to needing tires. With a wait like that I would end up having to buy a new set.
