Driveshaft rotates CCW as viewed from the rear of the car. With a live axle, this plants the left tire and unloads the right. A live axle with an open differential spins the right rear the vast majority of the time. I'm no drag racing expert but why wouldn't you want the extra weight over the tire that's being unloaded?Nope. The car is trying to lift on the rear driver's side. The eng itself is trying to lift on the driver's side. Battery goes on Drivers side trunk.
