Thanks for the Bump....

What setup did you have and did you have any drone?

We're had'em on '07 4.0L Turbo with JBA shorty headers.
Drone? IMHO they just sound :angry1:

They sound great on the GT or 5.0 and then add longtube headers, well that's a nice sound.

They did not sound "IMHO" good on my 6 .....and we're pushing 440rwhp !

i think he was just stating this style muffler sounded great on 4.6's and 5.0's, not so much the 4.0 though.

To find that perfect sound, something you like, is hard to find…

…saying that, I’m certain that I have found the right exhaust combination that gives me the sound that I'm pleased with.

Taking the JBA shorty headers off and putting the STOCK headers on allows the 4.0 with a Turbo to breath better.

Putting the JBA axle back on, we lost something like 10rwhp.
So to make that up, we installed a single Pypes cutout.
Opening the cutout puts us right back to 440rwhp.
Good to continue running in the 11’s.
We are pleased with the sound and rwhp!

Thanks for asking…..
