This kit was on a track car, the front springs are 700lb rated. I've never driven it on the road, but it felt pretty good on the track. Even running the curbs it didn't upset the car much. I'd think the rear would be fine for a street car, it felt soft. I ran 350 rear springs on my other track car so my "butt-meter" may be off a bit.... For a street only car you'd probably want to drop the fronts down to 500-550.

The kit is for sale, asking $1100 for it... Just haven't gotten it posted in the classified section yet...

I'll post a video from this past weekend at VIR, you can see how stable the car is and how it reacts to bumps...

wow! 700 in/lb springs up front?! i daily drive on 570 lb springs and i've finally bitten the bullet and ordered significantly softer springs. 700s must be rough (...just the way your mother likes it, trebek)

Did you not like your 570's on the street? What are you dropping them down to?
Just trying to pick your brain. :hammer: Well, you know what I mean.

Here's a video from two weekends ago at VIR. This was the last run of the day as the input shaft on the trans broke.... The banging heard on occasion is the driveshaft hitting the safety loop...

I do have a pair of 500lb hypercoil springs that can go with the setup if someone wishes, in place of the 700's. Unfortunately I don't have enough posts to allow listing the kit in the classified section, so if anyone is interested in the kit please PM me or email me at englandrunvet (at) verizon (dot) net. I can even post pics with my name and current date in the photos if someone wishes!

Kit can be bought complete or without the CC plates for less....

the shocks have good control over the springs, however i feel like it's still too much spring for a non-slick (for both street or track; more so on the street). i was hoping to use the car as more of a weekend warrior, but i can't help but drive it every chance i get, so it's seen a lot of street miles. i'll keep the original stiffer springs around if i get a set of dedicated slicks. then they can get put to good use.

i ordered 400lb springs for the front and 230lb springs for the rear (down from 570/340). they may be too soft for the valving, but i'll experiment with it. i think terry @ vorshlag is using 225 or 250lb rear springs with 345 width hoosier A6s and he hasn't mentioned explicit issues with bottoming in the back, so i'm hoping 230 can get me by.

my ride heights are set to 13.8" from hub to fender in front; 14.2" out back (geometry correction is next on the to-do list)

Don't think you'll have issues bottoming out in the rear with 230's. You are riding kinda low. I am at 15" center of hub to fenders all around with 200# rears. I am interesting in hearing your observations on how the dampeners handle the different rates. Good luck and keep us posted!
