Ghosted Stripes

OK I have decided to add some stripes to my SG 13 GT. I'm trying to go for the ghosted look. Any suggestions?

Go with the same color as your vehicle just a lighter or darker shade... 12in stripe down the middle with 1in pinstripes!

I can only seem to find black, silver, and white stripes. Where would one find a one off color for gray?

OH, your not getting them painted on? I have no clue, I'm sure somebody with stripes will chime in.

Depending on price paint would be an option.

Go check out ORS in nicholasville for painted. Or run by my shop and I will give you a guy that can do them in vinyl for you.

Maybe just a satin clear stripe would look good. Shiney clear on the car then satin clear for stripes. That would give the "ghost effect" I would think

I have been itching to stop by and get the stereo done. Busy as hell at work. I will see what ORS says and probbaly stop by your shop and see what the vinyl guy can do.

Keeping it Clean
Appearance and detailing of you car whether its wax or adding new color inside your ride.

Well....its appearance related and adding new color...sooooooo I didn't know where else to put it. The mods can move it if they feel inclined to do so.

Find a shop that does stripes and ask for a sample of a frosted material. It allows your color to show through the material kinda giving you the ghost look. I tried it against silver one day and it looked pretty damn good.
