Awesome video sir, that car is a beast!! Want to trade cars for a day or so, I'd love to dd that thing.. til I got scared and idled it back to ya lol
Thanks and Come get it when you want it Jason. The 2010's and up are on another level than my 07
You make it look easy Quade! Love the car...
I love that new GT of yours too! I'm pretty lucky with the setup on the car, it make me look like I can actually drive lol. For the very small amount of suspension mods, it handles well at the upper speeds.
the car did'nt even break a sweat..lol
She was still climbing pretty hard when I shift at 7300. My shift light is set at 6900 on this tune but I always try to push it a little. The rev limiter is on 7500 but I seldom hit it.
Very nice pass. Car was rolling.
Thanks man! I cant wait to gett some good air and a prepped track.
Major respect for a 9-second daily driver with a six speed!! What was the 60-foot on that pass?
Thank ya sir. It was a 1.56........it was spinning awful. The track was pretty bad Friday night due to the lack of cars running slick. Test and Tune was really close to being rained out so it was mostly street cars. It's normally a 1.40-1.45 60' car. This new tune is a monster and I need quite a bit more seat time. If my 60's don't improve with the setup that's in the tune now, I'm gonna start pulling timing in the 2000-4000 range.
Bad Azz man! Get ready for the tech guys to start driving you nuts at the track!!!
Thanks much man. I started running 9's last year and I got run off every track here in KY until I put a cage in it. That's kept all of them quiet so far. I figured I would have some trouble at MIR, but they said I was good for the GT500-Terminator Shootout.
Very nice! Daily driver, 6 spd, and driving the crap out of it to 9's and huge MPH is awesome!
Thanks a lot! It's a pretty good feeling to accomplish a goal that you're shooting for. When I built the car, I was shooting for 9's on 93 octane and a mid 9 on Race gas. I have back to back 9.96's on 93 octane this passed spring (with a DA of -77 feet and a temp of 62F). Now, if I can get a 9.6xx this Fall with the same weather conditions on the 3" pulley and Shell URT Advanced......I'll not ask for anything better from this car. I'm blessed to have the car in any form.
