finally got my first event win! man that felt good

got to use my M&H drag radials today. all passes were deep staged and im still wokring on the burnouts. tires seemed to spin just enough before hooking. but still some more in them, i know it

qualifying passes

R/T .274
60' 2.35
330" 6.16
1/8 9.169
MPH 81.22
1/4 14.02
MPH 100.04
my dumb ass forgot to switch to my 93 tune before qualifying started first round, so bad pass here. DRs seemed to dead hook, but on the 87 tune the car leaves so softly.

Qualifying 2nd session
R/T .350
60' 2.26
330" 5.96
1/8 XX--timers were not working
MPH XX
1/4 13.738
MPH 103.17

Round 1 Eliminations

R/T .260
60' 2.25
330" 5.94
1/8 8.95
MPH 82.15
1/4 13.733
MPH 100.14 tapping the brakes at the last possible moment. got the guy off the line, but it was a close race up to the 1/8.

Round 2 Eliminations
R/T .331
60' 2.28
330" 5.98
1/8 8.99
MPH 82.19
1/4 13.82
MPH 93.96 -- on the brakes at the 1000' mark. another close race but the other driver missed 3rd

FINAL ROUND
R/T .348
60' 2.29
330" 5.99
1/8 8.99
MPH 82.35
1/4 13.78
MPH 97.80-- on the brakes. got this one of the line actually, and i believe he short shifted giving me the edge. and the event win in my class. oh and a 485$ payout!

That's some funny stuff right there....I was actually thinking that exact thing when I saw those tires sell.

Congrats on the win!! That's a killer pay out for three rounds:thumb:

Is this that .4 Pro tree class? It looks like you might be able to get closer to that 13.50 index if you didn't deep stage it but you're R/T's will be a little further off, give and take. If you can stage as shallow as you can but make the adjustment to leave a little sooner on that tree, you'll be unbeatable.

Congrats on the win. It feels great, doesn't it?

yea thats a pro .400 tree. and i pretty much have to deep stage other wise ill get destroyed on the starting line. but yea, im sure once i get the hang of my burnouts and can imporve my 60' times i should be closer to the index. might get a set of control arms or some minor suspension stuff as i picked up another sponsor over the weekend too.

it feels great to finally win an event.
