issues with auto tune

the tune itself is great but im having a few small issues and wanna see if anyone else is too.

1.... my 2-3 shift shifts too quickly... it will shift into second then 1 second later shift into 3rd...
2....if i get any wheel spin off the line and the car shifts into 2nd.. it will shift into 3rd and back down to 2nd and then back up to 3rd... any way of disabling that?
3....under wot it wont shift into 4th right away at the desired rpm... it will basically hit the limiter then shift..

None of that should be happening.

Call your tuner.

You need to call whoever you got the tune from and tell them what is going on. It can be fixed with some adjustments.

You need to call whoever you got the tune from and tell them what is going on. It can be fixed with some adjustments.

i have.... i got an updated tune this week but its still doing the same thing.

i have a new tune i just got from Livernois, and it did it a few times. it really seems to depend on how bad it spins. but like i said it's new and Rick told me i may need some adjustments. does yours do it on the street or track and what are you using for tires.

Stang, I had the same problem. I went to Jms yesterday and chris Johnson and Monty got me^ tuned perfect. Give them a call. Oh yeah the coyote loves the bottle!

Whose tune are you running? I had that issue with Bama, and they repeatedly tried to fix it but never did get it right. The same issues were there with BBR's tune.

Brenspeed nailed it the very first time, and I've never had the problem with them. I had a short-shift problem from 3-4 with Torq's tune, but they took care of that very quickly for me. Both the Brenspeed and Torq tunes are awesome.

The only A6 perfectly tuned that I know of was tuned by Torq at their shop. At our track (PBIR) Torq (1.5 hrs drive away) has an impeccable reputation. Hope this helps.

my issues are only at wot at the track... on the street the car drives perfect.

Mine does #2 with both the BBR and vmp tune but only if its spinning hard going into 2nd.

You need a Lund Aggressive auto tune. Everything is perfect. My others i have issues with.

Get a Jon Lund tune. Problem solved. I have a VMP, TORQ, Brenspeed and Bama. Lund is very smooth and everything is right on target. Omcar ran a 12.08 with stock tires and a tune.

My tune is from Lund. Have at least 60 passes and only once ive had lil issue on a pass. Bumped rev limiter on 2-3 shift. Car drives great on the street and gets the job done @ the track.

ill call them tomrrow and talk to them... if they can tell me i wont have the issues im having ill give them a shot. just frustrating to have a new 5.0 and only running 12.0 on motor when so many others are going faster on less stuff.. i know for sure that it shifting at 4200 at the 2-3 shift is killing me.
