Have you thought about a set of Borla Stingers? Hefty price tag but sound superb with no cats IMO.

With the stock h pipe it was really raspy. When i had the after cat x pipe, resonators removed it sounded like pure evil. Smooth throughout the powerband. I loved that setup.
