Nothing wrong with the current engine. I am selling it to a local customer/friend - and just upgrading.

The current engine is a basic forged set-up, with stock heads and cams.

The new one is from Livernois, with cams and all kinds of upgraded goodness. I am exited to see where it will take this combo.

The primary driving factor is that I want to spray nitrous. Now that I have put ALL the boost to this combo, spraying nitrous on top I feel is a good way to blow the cylinder walls out of it. lol

So how much boost is ALL the boost? 18-20lb?

It launches on 16, then works it's way up to about 21 at 8300-8500 RPM.

I'd say it averages about 19-20 through a quarter mile pull.

HOLY CRAP! The part that I am most impressed with is the stock untouched transmission. I've heard the 6R80's are stout transmissions but I had no idea you could run 8's through them.

Everything is impressive but for me the stock trans taking that much power is really impressive. I think I'm going back to an automatic when I upgrade cars.
