I recently got the Borla ATAK installed. It sounds very good, no drone, and not noticeable at all when crusing. Not as loud as I thought it would be, but I am still happy with my choice. Its a very aggressive yet smooth sound.

So now I am stuck between choosing the Kooks LT's or the ARH LT's.

Does anyone have experience running them on the Borla ATAK? If so, do I need another H/X Pipe to make it fit?

The Borla ATAK comes with their own X Pipe which connects to the stock Cats. I assume I would need a new H-Pipe to run the new LT's????

I also looked at the XR-1 Bolra LT's but couldnt find any info on how well they fit or dyno graphs.

Unless things have changed Kooks makes an H and X pipe with emissions friendly cats. ARH only offers an X pipe.

As for the install the K member needs to be removed for the Kooks headers. That might not be necessary for the ARH.

You should really do a search for headers on the 5.0's here. Some enlightening info to be found.

ARH in my opinion. They are a true full length header where the Kooks are not.
