Lowering tips?

Going to be changing the stock front and rear springs on my '06 Mustang out with the FRPP Progressive springs on Monday. I've read Taco Bills DIY thread and was wondering if you fellas have any further hints, tips, or secrets to making this an uneventful experience? Is this task something a moderately skilled wrench can perform?

Air tools will work great if you have them. I also used taco-bills write up when I did my suspension. Don't lose the bearings. I almost did.

Air tools I have! Did anybody mark where bolts line up or anything else that would aide in lining things back up when going back together?

I just got my front stuff (struts, springs, sway bar) out and it was cake. Just keep in mind how the upper strut mount lines up w/ relation to the lower strut mount.

Have yet to tackle the rear yet.

I put the FRPP Progressive front and rear springs on today without a problem. The temps were over 100°F and I was sweating my azz off, but otherwise it was very easy. The front was more time consuming, of course, but nothing difficult at all and the rear was a piece of cake! I just used my stock shocks with these springs.

did you install an adjustable panhard bar? camber bolts? i just got some bmr springs in and was going to do the install if I ever get the car back from the body shop and wanted to make sure i did everything at one time

I just took the old springs out and put the FRPP Progressive springs in using the OEM shocks and bolts. I'm sure the way your wanting to do it is a better, more effective way but this will do me for now. Gonna get the alignment done tomorrow to see how far off it is as I may have to get the panhard and camber bolts too.

I had the car aligned today and all is well. No need for camber bolts or adjustable panhard bar. All alignment is within factory specs! The handling is WAAAAAY more responsive without much compromise to the ride at all. I'm satisfied thus far!
