I have a MGW sifter,i have both shifter shaft sizes 3/8x16 & 12mmx1.25.What i would like is to put on a white ball on it (5 speed shift pattern) with the button for line locks. No one seems to make such a thing to thread onto what i have so it seems.Does anyone make bushings or adaptors for this situation.Or does anyone have a different approach??Tell me what you have.

The only one close is the 163 0051 shift ball from Hurst, it has 12x1.75 threads, white ball, button on the side and 5speed pattern on top. We normally drill and tap for 12x1.25 (12x1.25 actually calls for a slightly bigger drill bit size than a 12x1.75 so you can drill and tap) or we will heli-coil them for 3/8x16 threads. Either will work just fine.

Shift Ball

You got it.I ordered one from Summit back ordered till Sept 13.You know my problem exactly.MGW admitted today they know of this problem. They may make a 12mmx1.75 in the near future.I ordered another shift shaft from MGW 3/8x16,i will then turn it down & thread it 12 mmx1.25.For know i will order a black ball 3/8x16 with 12v on the side. Thanks for your input.
