Have any of you guys moved your radiator forward? I was planning on making new upper rad. mounts and a new lower support to bring it in closer to the core. It seems it will move up about 3/4" before it makes contact with the core, but I would like to get a little more. If you have done something of this sort or used a different radiator could you post it up?

As of now I've got zero room, with the additional 3/4" it should fit, but with no extra room.

I have redrilled the upper radiator brackets to get the radiator as close as possible to the framework. No modification the the lower brackets.

A slim fan will give you tons of room.

Negative, I kept it at the stock height so I would have more room for the downpipe.

I will probably redrill the uppers before I make new ones. I suppose the lower does not really affect it much, but planned on making a new support or chopping up the BMR support to make more room for the dp.

Do you still have the front sway bar? With a tubular radiator support without the front sway bar there is a huge amount of room for piping.

No, that's been in the junk pile for quite some time. I've currently have the BMR sway bar delete radiator support, but it's in the middle of everything still. I'm going to angle it forward around 45deg and that will give me about 3" more which will be enough for a 5" pipe.

Not the best picture but you get the idea how much of a difference there is with a single 16" fan like i'm running. The corners are completely open.

Good deal, I think that's what I'm going to have to do since the compressor is wedged between the cam cover and the shroud.

Do you run into cooling issues since (assuming) you don't have a shroud for the fan? If so that's a big no-no for me since it gets over 100 here

I haven't had this setup for very long so it hasn't seen any hot weather yet. I'll have to wait until next summer to see how it does. I think they make low profile slim fan shrouds so if i do have any issues i'll go that route.

My powerhouse kit has a set of plates that move the bottom of the radiator forward about 2", coupled with re-drilling the upper brackets and the BMR rad support (I kept the front swaybar) there is lots of room.
