The main reason I didn't get Grabber Blue (my first choice) was that I didn't want to drive a cop magnet.

I'm 39 my days of speeding and street racing are over.I do all my racing now on the 660 or the 1320.So even though my color draws attention,I don't do anything that would get me pulled over.

I didn't mean that everyone that buys silver or grey or white or whatever colors are sheep, I meant that in general those are the colors that people buy. Yes, those are the ones that dealers have but, I found plenty of every color Mustang when I was looking for mine, I had my pick. The manufacture knows that it'll sell a silver car so it makes them. Blaze orange or neon green, probably not as sure.
For the record I had a Mineral Grey 02, and I loved the color, I also had a Silver F-350 and I loved that color.
I wasn't insulting anyone, I was merely stating a general observation. At least in Cali its a sea of greys, silvers, and whites, no matter what vehicle it is.

next time you buy a new vehicle special order it to your exact specifications. i ordered my car in the alloy metallic color because i wanted it. i don't see alot of them either. most silvers and grey's are lighter. if i buy another new car i'll order that one also. i liked the idea of no one being able to test drive my car. i also knew it's vin number before the car had even started on the assembly line.

This. Oh, how I wish they would bring back BAB. My brother is in the early stages of swapping a coyote 5.0 into a 1969 fastback. He's contemplating BAB as a possible color.

It is very difficult to get people the order now adays. Last year i only had 4 customers order Mustangs. With Fords management of the rebates, a salesmen can not promise the customer future rebates or financing programs. So i do dealer trades and get them as close as i can. Also the manager will step in and try to close a deal even if it means giving the car away. They do want the customer to order.

guess i was lucky when i ordered mine in iraq. i got all the rebates that were offered from the time i placed the order till i picked up the car.

I ordered mine, it was right about 1 year ago, damn. They knocked off almost 2grand from sticker, and when it arrived, gave me $500 more off, from some rebate program that I did not even know about. Color=black.
Ordering it was easy on the web, can't imagine myself buying new any other way.

I also wish they had more color options. I'm a red color vehicle kinda guy. But I certainly wouldn't limit myself to red if there were more color options out there. I really would like to be able to have more say so in interior colors. It just so happened I really dig the light colored interior I have with Race Red as an exterior color.

But over the last ten years in particular, I've grown more and more frustrated with the lack of color options. Even when ordering a car, it has gotten to be difficult to really get what you want.

I really have no clue why people buy sports cars,muscle cars or exotics in boring colors such as black, white or silver. In my opinion the whole point of these cars is to be loud and seen and not try to fly under the covers.

Like hell! I LOVE Black colored cars and trucks. It's just too much of a PITA to properly take care of black paint. Since I'm in my 40's, I prefer my second favorite color for a vehicle, the brightest Red they have. Which is why my 'Stang is Race Red.

There is NO OTHER color out there that looks as menacing and beautiful as black does on a car.

Grabber Green is the way to go! If I ever win the lottery I'm gonna build a super-clean S197 in Grabber Green... lol.

Black, White and silver are great ( except the silver used in 07/08 not enought flake in it ) The big plus for white is it go's with any color you mite want to use for strips or interior. I dont even care about the dark colors. There just isn't any options for brite colors. When i was a teen, you could order your car in prime and paint it yourself. Or if you liked another color used on a different model you could get that thru special office order.
