depending on your skills, you could fab out something with fiberglass or plywood covered with oem style carpeting.... if you wanted to get fancy, you could make a flat cover that has plexiglass or lexan circle in the middle as a display window for the spare...

I just put a big bottle of this in my trunk along side of the air pump that came with the car.

If you didn't get the air pump option you can always just buy a cheap 12v pump.

I like this option because I don't have to carry all the extra dead weight of a spare around

My experience tells me when you jack the car at the front jacking notch, the rear wheel will come off the ground if you raise the car high enough. In case you need to have a rear tire repaired you can put the front one on the back, and not worry about differential damage; you still have to worry about the spare fitting over Brembos, however.

I'm preparing for a road trip pretty soon. Reckon I should see if any of the wheel/tire sets I have around here will fit in the spare well.
