Liberty Toploader and 5.67 Detroit Locker out back. Car has had numerous spreads in Natl. publications over the years.

Haha! Exact same here... Was lookin' for months for a 69-70 Sportsroof to bring back to Australia then gave up, said fuck it and now I'm moving to Texas to be with my '08 Bullitt... lol.

Popcorn bowls? You must mean the velocity stacks which I used when I was showing it or taking some pics when it was raced it got the 9" snorkel on it. As far as the hair never was a fashion plate. Just know how to make cars go fast.

haha im not trying to hate on your style, but those stacks are just larger than most ive seen, you have a damn nice car that for sure puts mine to shame whether it's sitting still or on the track

Thanks I know they are big but there is not a lot of things out there to give the carbs the air that it needed. The little air cleaners were very restrictive and looked a lot worse than the stacks. BTW that pic is from the late 80's! Car hasn't seen daylight in about 6yrs. soon!

That WAS the engine, blew that one up! Now I had built an ultra rare 68 Trans Am 302 Tunnelport there were only 500 of these engines produced for the factory Ford Trans Am teams and were never put into a factory street car. Out of the 500 IF there are five of these engines running it's a lot ( and I got one! ) . Most have never even heard of this engine let alone seen one. This is one badass engine! When I roll it out of my garage I'll take some pics of it, it has intake ports as big as a Big Block Chevy. You never heard a SBF run so fat.
