No way in hell. You have to have a dial in on the window in brackets.

Last time I was at the track this jackass (Mustang night, lane 7) had no numbers on the car (but he did have a nice FOR SALE sign). When we pulled up for burnouts, no number showed up at the lights for his dial-in. I didn't do my burnout, rolled my window down and asked the track official what the guy was going to run. He just yelled back at me that I was holding up the race. I sat at the tree wondering what this orange fox next to me had in it. His light comes, then mine - so much for concentration. I spun like hell and he took the win. I argued my point to TWO track officials to work my way back towards the front of the line we were running in. I went over to ask the driver WTF was up with that and the car was just sitting there in line with nobody around and the doors locked.

Fast forward to 8:04 here...

Was that in illimination with no time on his window, thats total bullshit. Sounds like "hanky-panky" going on with the tower. I believe I would be draging out the rule book on that one.

Oh and nice time 12.40 even with the spin

Yes & yes. I had a pretty good idea that whoever was driving the car knew that I was looking for them. Since then, I've spoken w/another guy that frequents Sac Raceway. He thinks it's the owner's son.

Wow, thats complete bullshit. Were you guys racing for money? Maybe a ringer so the track owner doesn't have to pay out. Did that car end up winning?

Ted was shooting the video for that race, he had already been eliminated. He started shooting right after the guy told me to stop holding up the race. It was Mustang Night, there was supposed to be a big trophy for the winner and I wanted it. The winner's name was posted on the SRP website but I don't know if that is the same guy that was driving that car. I was pissed and Ted was whining like a two dollar whore so we took off for pizza and beer. If I ever see that shit happen again I'll get out of my car and go see "what's up" before I even think about doing a burnout.

I should have snapped a pic of the for sale sign then at least I would have had a phone number.
