I really don't think I would want to powder coat a set of wheels that I paid 5 grand for to be honest.

And to the original poster paydirt.... sounds like you wanna make a statement with your wheels.... which im totally down with! if thats the case get the wheel that you have photoshopped onto your car... and with the wheels this expensive they will always look good and if you were to ever get a different ride you can always make silver wheels work with almost any car and color IMO... so you could use these on there too.

And if you got a big brake kit in say black, red or what have you they would really 'pop' from underneath the silver wheels on black car.

I dont know but im so exited that your buying these wheels!.... LOL.... they are pretty much my dream wheels that I absolutely love!

hope this helps.... and I love your car btw.... one of the nicest black s197's I have ever seen.... i really dig the apr splitter you have on the cdc chin spoiler.

thanks so much for the kind words, I am going with a 20" wheel by the way...11's in the back and 9.5 up front. I am about 85% sure that I am going to go with a brushed face and a polished lip. I will keep everyone updated through the process as I am quite sure that this will be the first s-197 with 360 forged wheels.

Thanks for all the input guys!

I am very close to purchasing my "nice wheels", and am very curious to see the finished product. I also want to know who you purchased the wheels from, and your expierience. $5k is alot of dough, and at that level I will expect perfection nothing less.
