I have a 05 mustang premium edition gt with a 4.6 3 v manual trans and I have a 06 gt reg .my question is will the 06 body harness work with my 05

Yes it may if it’s a late 06 it
May not. Ford changed the pin-out for the CVT or VVT from 1 wire to 2 wire in late 06 for the 07 model. I have been struggling with this and found out the hard way. If you have your old one look at the white block that plugs into the fuse block distribution box if the wires have the same arrangement your good. The new one will have less wires in the white block.

The pin out controls the VVT CVT Phaser solenoids

The 06 body harness is very similar to the 05, but it's not guaranteed plug and play. Most will match, but options like audio, airbags, or premium features can cause connector differences. Compare both harnesses before swapping.

Thanks Chris so far I see there's one plug on the taillight end that doesn't have a opposite plug I guess it's for the shaker sound system but I also noticed what appears the abs plug doesn't fit the plug
