Hello! Does anyone have a stock tune file for a 2007-2009 Mustang GT 4.6 AUTO car for HpTuners. im helping a friend with a 2007 s197 chassis swapped under a 1967 Cougar, and he has all sorts of missmatched parts.. His PCM is from a 2010 and i dont think they are the same as i cant find some modules like Instrument Cluster. He currently has a P1260 PATS code so we cant get the car to crank.

Would a PATS deleted 2007-2009 ecu from ebay or somewhere else fix this and if not what else do we need..

Appreciate any help we can get, thanks!

i do not have a stock tune,,
but if you do get a ecu with pats deleted or get an ecu and then get the pats deleted , you should have zero issues and a stock tune ..

im just not sure if there is a difference between a manual ecu and auto ,, i would assume so for shift points ect, ect,

you could also send your ecu away or have a tunner delete it for you ,, then youre ecu should work just fine providing there is no manul to auto difference

and i think the 2010 ecu should be the same ,, maybe a more aggressive tune for the hp difference in the 2010 3v vs 2005 -2009 3v

Have you checked HPTuners forums/tune repositories? There is very likely a stock auto file you can pull from there.

Personally, I would also send Lito ([email protected]) an email as he has very likely tuned similar setups in the past and can get you what you need.

Why not just program keys to the pcm? PATS is self contained, not in the cluster like 11& up.

i second .to the lito

lito tuned my car and he can delete the PATS for you
..PATS can be delated ? (up to 2010 ) that is a interesting news. never heard about it... but good to know - if the PATS starts making trouble. Will keep it in mind.

thanks for sharing your knowledge with us ( thumps up )

Yes, hptuners has added the ability for pats delete on most of the supported platforms.

I pulled one, when updating my '08 with 5 Star 93 Octane tune, using the SCT BDX device (it's a .BEF file). It's not an acceptable attachment for the forum, so if you'll PM me with your e-mail address, I'll send it to you.

And maybe nevermind, as mine is a 5-spd...
