Bought my first Mustang a few months ago. I haven't had a fast car in 20 years because where I lived in Colorado, they don't work. I bought this car from my sons mechanic in Tulsa. High milage car 180k+ in great shape still. It has a fresh built 3,2,1 engine, new block and Motorsports Boss crank and rods, Mahle 12:1 pistons Mutha Thumper cams, long tubes, Borla off road X and mids GT500 mufflers, lowered on Eibach pro kit, Spec stg 2 clutch, stg 2 MT82 build, Barton gen2 shifter rebuilt rear with Torsen R2 diff, and 3.73 gears from Ford Perf and a finned GT500 cover. Tuned on 91 right now.

No good drag racing around me, the occasional 1/8 opportunity but no track close by and roll racing isn't worth it, get caught just once and the price can be crazy high. So I am going to change directions with the car. I found SCCA autoX close to me. Signed up for my first one this Sunday. I plan to work on suspension, wheels. tires, maybe brakes as time goes on since the drivetrain is pretty much done for my needs.IMG_5108.jpg

Congrats and welcome. Great looking car, love the wheels! Nice 3,2,1 build! Who built the motor?

Beautiful car and perfect stance. You got dangerously close to that curb!

Patrick Swain has a small shop in Tulsa OK. He built the motor, did a manual swap for me, rebuilt the differential. Quality work.

We will see how my autox goes. I may have to find a way to quiet it down. I saw a 108db limit, I think my car is WAY over that at WOT

They will not be wide enough at 9.5 inches and I really prefer a silver wheel to even the grey. I do like the look, definitely what drew me to this car. Thanks!

Nice wheels snowsled. I'm in the market for some, and another member here has/had some sweet looking 20"(?) Saleen wheels for sale. Do you know the specs and maker of your wheels? Trying to decide where to spend money wisely. I've found some 18" factory bullet wheels from a GT/CS, but the finish looks stained for lack of a better term. Not sure if they will polish up/out, so have been leery of taking the chance. If they don't polish up, I would have somewhat pretty, but stupidly expensive, garden hose, extension cord holders.
