You can make a 15" wheel fit, but I wouldn't say it can be done "no problem". I ran 15x3.5 Weld Draglites for a long time, but I needed multiple spacers (7/16" total thickness) and longer studs (which ended up being a royal PITA to do). They cleared the calipers OK, but stuck out a little. And even with the 3" studs, I didn't have a lot of thread engagement.

The 15x4 Bogarts I have now are much much better.
