I agree as well.The longer & higher the rpm you transbrake at,the greater the trans oil is cooking roughly 100 degrees per sec in that converter!
Think of it like this Ron - if your converter is holding at WOT to exactly the stall (3400) and not slipping more at all (make sure) then even just setting the 2-step to 3300 takes that burden off your converter to hold it all.
Also - remember you have a TS so you are going to be in full boost regardless of the launch rpm on the trans brake as soon as you take off.
