That blows dude, so much time!

Yeah but man am I glad that Chris at MPE is such a great guy. Honestly, we were at it for so long (Kevin knows) and finally got it. Doing dyno pulls at 10:50PM is quite interesting haha. Cars seems to run good now, I'm going to go give it some more test driving.

Thanks Kevin for stopping by and helping us push the Camaro and helping me get gas (car was running out of gas and caused all kinds of funny fuel pump stuff).

How much $$$ in gas was used for all those pulls! Lol.

Billy, PC came in today, and pads and polish will be here the end of next week.

On a sad note, there are some issues I'm having with my new top. For one, it bunches in the middle when you put it down. This happened before, and there was a screw missing. The second thing is the top itself doesn't go down the entire way, its hitting something, and catching a ton of wind on the highway.

I called the place that did it, and everybody is on vacation. Soonest I can get it in is May 1st, so I hope its ready for the big cruise on the 6th...

That's dumb. I hope they fix it ASAP, sounds like it might just need some adjustments.

We did about 25 wide open pulls total. I know yesterday we went through about 1/8 tank of gas. Doesn't matter though, I'm stoked that MPE helped me work it out 'til the end. I can't think of another shop who would stay up until 2am to help a customer out. Needless to say, I'd recommend MPE for any tuning--Chris really knows what he's doing and he's a stickler for details. If he didn't care so much about getting the tune perfect, we'd have been done a long time ago. Plus, we picked up 30 peak torques and lost no horsepower on this tune. The torque and power both come in earlier as well. We did a couple pulls where the power went way over the top (506whp+) so we had to pull back the timing. I'm glad I went with the set up I got since I know it's good for gobs more power just the way it is--just need a block at some point!

To update you guys, 98% of the kinks are worked out. The A/C makes the cruise idle a little funky and it chokes a bit on a hot start. This thing really lights up the tires! I just got some lower control arms used and am waiting for someone to sell some relocation brackets. (Unfortunately, Brian, they are black and not red like I wanted haha). Tires and wheels to come next I suppose.

I secretly hope it rains on May 6th so that I can attend the cruise the week after.

May 12! My car has scratches and nicks everywhere though...just FYI, it's probably gonna be a long day!

Also, probably time to raise the fronts a little. My lip is cracked and the paint is flaking lol. It ate massive shit on the MPE driveway.

Sounds good to me man, it'll def be a long day!

Raising the front is no biggie, at least we now know we dont even have to pull the tires for it.

I think the blower weighed the front down quite a bit. Remember how we raised it? Well it's back to tire-on-fender height now.
