I've never liked that style of hood. Just looks weird to me to have that center raised up area. I like the idea of black. But would suggest, as have others, you tie it into the car more.

Sorry man, just not feel'n this hood. Agree that it's a very nice looking car though.
A 2.5" - 3.0" cowl hood would have been sick !!

Instead of painting on the car, how about just masking off the edges of the hood at the creases and painting them to match the car. Then it won't look like you just haven't painted the hood yet. Give it the Mach 1 look. Cheaper, too.

But I don't think they would look good with the black hood. I think that would be overkill and just be too busy. Don't do it.

I think it will look killer black in the center. That color is perfect with black. Hopefully you won't get tired of it. I don't think the hood would look nearly as good if it was painted solid blue.
