I am new to the forums, but am a long time Ford fan. I grew up in Ford Country, aka Dearborn, and my high school mascot is a Ford Tractor (how is that for loyal). My parents both owned Mustangs (1964 and 1965) at the same time and now my husband and I relive the dream with a 2006 GT and 2013 Boss 302. I always wanted a Mustang after sitting in the back seat of my parents. But of course my older brother had to come home with a 1988 GT hatchback making the urge even greater. After many Friday night drag racing stints (as a passenger at age 12, if my mother only knew) with my brother at Detroit Dragway with his 1968 Cutlass convertible (with ram air) and the 1988 Mustang GT, I was now hooked on SPEED and Mustangs. Finally on April 8, 2006, I picked up my special ordered (in February 2005) Vista Blue GT with 18” Fan Blade Wheels (can you say hot wheels), a duck tail spoiler, and sequential tail lights. It was great going from my Ford Ranger (4 cylinder manual) to the 300 hp V8 GT, woo hoo. I love my baby, but now she is just too slow…especially after buying a new winter ride…2014 Focus ST. I have to mention that I am a manual transmission fanatic, bought my first manual in 1989 (at age 19) and never owned an automatic since. Here is a shout out to all the manual fans out there. Save the manuals.

I finally got pic on my intro. I just switched from old school laptop to a new Microsoft surface and I feel like it will be a year before I get used to this. I like old tech solid axles, walking uphill both ways to school and the like.
