As impressive as they are at almost $22,000 dollars I'll pass. That's stupid expensive for a crate engine. Yet, they will sell every single one the make.

It's ready to go..with the big blower..and warranty. The 13/14 GT-500 eng is not cheap either.

I know, but damn. That's a lot of scratch for just an engine. If I had a enough "play" money to throw around that $22+K didn't matter to me, I'm sure I'd see it differently.

How much is the 13/14 GT-500 eng ? ( smaller displacement eng...and a smaller displacement blower).

Think at these prices I’ll take me a wrecked hellcat or Shelby as a donor. And if the engine needs to be freshened up so be it. Although knowing these prices now, it’s quite a flex to afford 1.

An LT4 crate comes in under $15k or just over $16k for the dry sump version. Roughly the same $/HP as the Redeye engine.
I can't afford to play in this league but the Ford crate motors are clearly way behind on value.

You know for that kinda of money one could buy the crate 7.3 and the supercharger that Whipple is making and still have A LOT of money left over to play with. It'd make that kind of power with only about 12ish psi.
