I thought for sure I was going to run slower with the 3.31s but I ran faster with a slower 60'.

12.98 @ 110.11 with a 1.93 60'. Ran again went 12.99 @ 109.87 with a 1.94 60'.

Not sure why it trapped considerably higher but it did with 86F 93% humidity.

Tire pressure was 27psi, no burnout dumping clutch at 5400 rpms.

That was at state Capitol raceway, It was et bracket racing. I got knocked out in the first round. Only got 3 runs total but every run was same mph and et was very consistant. It was hooking so good I bogged no matter the launch or tire pressure.

what were you shifting at? I am playing around with what RPM's to shift with and you are getting great times so I am curious and would like to compare.

haha...that was my problem as well. I was trying different launch techniques and rpms and it didn't matter. Even launching at 6k dumping the clutch it bogged which was the times in my sig. Best 60' was a 1.922 so that makes me feel better I wasn't the only one :beerdrink:

Not suprising, there is always a trade off with numerically higher gears and that is making extra shifts. With a tall gear, 2 shifts and you are done.

Leaving that hard you probably gave up 2/10 in et with maybe a 1-2mph decrease in mph. But, if that's all your looking for is a barley 12 second car with good gas milage you dar! BTW...did you have the gears swapped out over in Houston or LA? I have my new gears, kit, and FRPP Cover Girdle and looking for a quality shop to do install.
