I went to Atco last night to take advantage of the cool air and it paid off good running a few new best times. My first two runs were 11.546 and 11.545 both at 119. My third run was the best run here is the breakdown:
R/T. .111
60'. 1.694
330. 4.764
1/8. 7.355
MPH. 94.45
1000. 9.585
1/4. 11.466
MPH. 120.66
I checked the weather channel for the weather during that final run and it was 53 F and 86% humidity. My best time before these runs was an 11.67@118. The car has a Saleen charger,9.5lbs boost, Kooks exhaust, spydershaft, CHE LCA's, relo brackets, 4.10 gears, GT500 fuel system, and a JDM tune.

Congrats!

And that was indeed some good air. Assuming the track is around 150' ASL, and the barometric pressure was in the 29.9 range, then the DA was -36 feet. Sheesh... I'd love to see negative DA on a good track someday. Don't think it will ever happen though.

Good Job Frank. Damn, I wish I went. Oh well, just think the air is only getting better. I heard Nitrous Peter went 10.8 s last night with that Roush TVS last night. Everything else stock except tires.

Thanks guys. It's an auto car, stock converter. Don, On my time slip it shows the baro at 31.25. Paul, I was looking for you. Yeah Pete ran a 10.84 or 83 I don't remember and Harry ran a 11.01 and a 10.88. It was a good night and very crowded.

Wow!! 31.25 really? Jeez... that makes the DA an amazing -1562!!!

Don -1562 looks a bit optimistic. Camden Cty airport is approx 15 miles from Atco, going by that data I show a -495 DA, which seems about right for those conditions.
Track elevation 33'
Temp 57
Dew point 50
Absolute pressure 30.39

IF I use this calculator http://www.csgnetwork.com/dadtcalc.html I come up with -491 which checks close enough to my other calculator at -495.
However if you plug in that 31.25 it drops DA down to your #'s.

I just wonder if Atco's data is correct.

By the way, just for fun I ran some #'s for your "neck of the woods" with last nights weather....
Famosa +1980
Infineon +493
La County +4326
Pamona +1912
Reading +1482
Sacremento +716
Samoa -430
'Vegas +4084
WA Pacific Raceway +431
AZ S.W. International +5458
AZ Speedworld +3581
HI Hilo Dragstrip +979

You are definitely in the land of Crappy DA's, however, don't know what kind of track it is, but that Samoa looks promising................

And....Yeah...I knew I should have thrown the wheels on and took a ride to Atco last night. Next 2 weeks look real shitty for weather around here.

Nice times guys..................

Do you have a pic of the timeslip so I can add you to the ET Spreadsheet?
